Admissions Information

Applying As A Degree-Seeking Student

Applicants who are interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree in conjunction with the Spa Management Certification should apply to ASU as a degree-seeking student. For more information on how to apply to ASU as a degree-seeking student, visit the Undergraduate Admissions' How to Apply page.

Applying As A Non-Degree-Seeking Student

Admission To The Spa Management Certification Program

The number of students admitted to the program each semester will be limited. You can request an application packet by e-mailing larry.woodruff@asu.edu, or telephoning our receptionist at (480) 727-1945.

The completed Application for Admission must be accompanied by a letter of intent, your current resume, three letters of reference, and official transcripts of any community college, college or university coursework.

Applications will be prioritized based on:

  • Grades in high school, community college and/or college or university
  • Employment history
  • The quality of your three letters of reference
  • A letter of intent stating the reasons for pursuing this certification
  • Honors and awards
  • Certifications
  • Professional memberships
  • Evidence of acceptance to Arizona State University

Deadlines for admission into the program

Fall Semester- March 15

Spring Semester or Summer Sessions- September 1

The complete application package (including sealed transcripts) must be mailed or hand-delivered, in one envelope, to the address below prior to the deadline dates. These deadlines are set well in advance in order to give time for faculty to review applications and notify applicants of acceptance, and in order to give students ample time to register for the required courses. NOTE: Required courses fill months in advance, so early registration is recommended.
