Welcome to the School of Applied Arts and Sciences.

We invite you to explore our undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the most popular areas of the arts and humanities, social and behavioral sciences, health sciences, and biological sciences. In line with the Polytechnic mission, our programs emphasize the applied aspects of these disciplines. As a student in the School, you have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in your chosen field through class projects, lab work and research activities.

If you are unsure about your choice of major, the School of Applied Arts and Sciences is a great place to start your ASU education and to discover your academic and career interests, while you move forward on your general studies requirements. Our advisors are available to help you find the degree program that is right for you.

The School also offers a rich array of popular general studies and general interest courses, including fine arts activities and performance courses in theater, dance, graphic arts, and choral and instrumental music. We also offer prerequisite courses in math and science. New courses are being added every semester.
