Student Computing Sites & Classrooms

UTO supports academic computing sites offering a variety of computer hardware and software. These facilities are available on the ASU Polytechnic campus for use by ASU faculty, staff and students. An ASURITE UserID is required to access the workstations.

UTO strives to promote an atmosphere of learning and research by providing educational resources and support focused on encouraging self-sufficient computer use.

Computing Policies [asu.edu/policies] opens link in new window

UTO has policies and codes that define the responsible use of computers and networks. There are also federal, state and local laws governing many interactions that occur on the Internet. You need to be aware of what your responsibilities are and what the process is for adjudicating violations. You also need to know what rights you have and how you can get help if your rights are violated. For more information see asu.edu/policies.opens link in new window
