Transfer Requests

Residence Halls and Shared Houses

• Room/house transfers will not occur until after the 10th day of classes each semester.
• You will only be approved for a move if you demonstrate a specific need for a room/house change and show that you have attempted to resolve any roommate conflicts prior to requesting a transfer.
• There is a transfer fee which must be paid prior to receiving keys to your new residence.  Transfer fees are as follows:
  • $35 transfer fee to move to a residence hall
  • $50 transfer fee to move to a shared house
• We reserve the right to deny transfer requests to residents with a poor history of on-time payments and/or compliance with community policies.
• All transfers must be approved by the Area Coordinator for your residential area.

Family Houses

• Families who demonstrate a need for a larger/smaller residence based on financial need or family size will be allowed to move if space becomes available.
• There is a Transfer Fee of $100 which must be paid prior to receiving keys to your new residence.
• All transfers must be approved by the Area Coordinator for Family Houses.
• We reserve the right to deny transfer requests to residents with a poor history of on-time payments and/or compliance with community policies.
