Shared Houses in South Desert Village (SDV)
Want to live on campus but not in a residence hall?
Take advantage of the
additional space and freedom afforded by living in a house! Two and three bedroom
houses are available in the South Desert Village area for sophomores and above.
Shared houses are the best housing choice for juniors, seniors,
and graduate/nontraditional students.
Houses are shared between two or three people. You may choose to live
with 2 or 3 friends or allow us to match you with a housemate.
Water, electricity, garbage, 80-channel cable TV and high-speed internet
service are all included. Beginning with the Fall 2009 semester, a washer and dryer will be provided in the den.
Each house has a full kitchen (cooking equipment not provided) and is fully furnished. Both the two and three bedroom floor plan have an extra den which can be used
for anything from a study to a game room. In addition, each house's living space
extends outdoors with a semi-enclosed patio.
The shared housing area, like all other housing areas, is staffed by
Community Assistants (CAs) who provide peer support, policy enforcement, and
programs/activities for residents.
