Freshmen Year Experience Program
To help
our freshmen survive and thrive, ASU's Polytechnic campus, Chandler Gilbert Community College and Williams
Campus Housing and Residential Life offer the Freshmen Year
Residential Experience (FYRE) program, a living and learning community
for traditional-age (18-19 years old) freshmen enrolled at ASU's
Polytechnic campus and Chandler-Gilbert Community College.
All freshmen living on campus are part of the FYRE
program.
As a FYRE student, you will meet fellow students and develop a sense of community
through programs and activities that support your successful adjustment to college.
You will benefit from added opportunities for learning, campus involvement and faculty interaction.
The Freshman Year Residential Experience Program includes:
- Freshman-only residence halls
- Academic success seminars and workshops
- Tutoring labs
- Programs and activities which support the transition to
college
