Dean and Bell Halls
Dean and Bell residence halls offer a pod-style
living arrangement. Each pod consists of five bedrooms surrounding a central living room and
bathroom. Each pod also has each own limited kitchen, which allows residents to prepare
simple meals. Each kitchen has a refrigerator, sink and microwave, as well as a fair amount
of counter and cabinet space. Kitchens do not have a stove or oven. To view sample floor
plans, click here.
Dean and Bell Halls, like all other housing areas, are staffed by Community
Assistants (CAs) who provide peer support, policy enforcement, and
programs/activities for residents.
Students living in Bell Hall are required to purchase a meal plan.
Starting with the Fall 2009 semester, Bell Hall will be all single rooms for upperclassmen.
Planned upgrades include full-size beds, new paint and flooring (these upgrades are subject to change and are not guaranteed at this time). Bell Hall will also offer extra-large single rooms ("Super Singles") at a slightly higher rate.
Dean Hall will not be available during the 2009-2010 academic year.
